FIT: MIND, BODY, AND SOUL

 

“In good health.”-The definition of fit.

In the midst of all the branding and improvements we constantly strive for, I think it’s important to go back to the basics.

Working out isn’t a chore, or a job, it’s my peace. It fulfills me, and it puts me in a place of good health. It’s extremely easy to get caught up in the physical aspect of being fit, but I want to talk about what it means to be fit in all aspects of your life.

Mind, Body and Soul.

MIND

Mentally in good health, secretly one of the hardest things to accomplish on earth. I’ve said before that in fitness, you are your own worst enemy, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to be kind to yourself. There are too many elements in the world that are built to tear us down, you cannot let your own mind be one of them.

BODY

Working out, eating clean, getting stronger than you were the day before. All things you’ve heard day in and day out. I know that when I’m working out I feel strong because I have set goals and accomplished them. I eat clean to physically feel better, because it’s what my body needs. You thrive when you put in the work to put your body in good health.

SOUL

In this life, it is easy to coast from day to day. We are creatures of habit and are attracted to routine, and we often forget to look within. It is crucial to find things that fuel your soul. Like I said, fitness is a way of giving me peace, it works for me. I urge you to find what works for you, find something that brings you joy, gives you fulfillment. And you may not have found it yet, but figuring it out, trying new things and gaining experiences are a part of the process. It’s called living.

So let’s live in good health.

Let’s live fit.
